METALLIC WOOD BORING BEETLES (Buprestidae)
A metallic reddish brown beetle about 1/5th of an inch long. It was identified with the help of experts at Bugguide.net.
This beetle was found along Stream trail. Many beetles of this genera can be found on flowers. Its overall occurrence at Fontenelle Forest is not known.
