This treehopper grows to about 3/8th of an inch long (9 mm). The members of this species are normally green, but the individual in photo 3 is a color variant. The light dots on the back is apparently diagnostic. Like other treehoppers, this species feeds on plant juices and lays its eggs in slits cut into the soft plant tissue.

This treehopper is common in Fontenelle Forest and Neale Woods June through August. The careful observer may find a variety of these species during the growing season at both Fontenelle Forest and Neale woods.
