This planthopper is less than 1/2 inch long and resembles a moth at first sight. Its color varies from brown to gray, depending on the amount of a floury coating is present. They have two or more dark spots on the base of their wings, which are folded in the vertical. They feed on the juices of plants.
Not often seen in our two nature centers. This species is found on citrus plants, as implied by their common name, but on many other plants as well.
