This planthopper is almost pure white, with a faint orange border on its folded wings. It is less then 1/2 inch long. It is almost triangular in shape.
Common on thistle and wingstem on the floodplain in Fontenelle Forest, often seen lined up in groups. The pure white coloration makes it easier to spot than its other hopper relatives. It ranges throughout eastern North America and into Mexico and Central America.
This planthopper is the only species in the genus Ormenoides in North America.
