FOUR-SPOTTED FUNGUS BEETLE LARVAE

PLEASING FUNGUS BEETLES (Erotylidae)

These larvae are white with black markings. They are a little less than a ½ inch long. They were identified with the help of volunteers at Bugguide.net.

 

These larvae were photographed on fungi on a tree on Marsh Trail. The overall occurrence of this species is not known.
