Each of these tan-colored millipedes was about 1 inch long. Identified with the help of Dr. Rowland Shelley as a juvenile of this species, and more generally as a millipede by its paired legs.

Rarely seen above ground in Fontenelle Forest. They are underground most of the time, eating mostly leaf litter.
