Small red and yellow ichneumon. Approximately 3/8 inch in length. Antennae are black and white.
This ichneumon is only known from Fontenelle Forest. It was photographed on 9/17/08.
There are approximately 3,000 species of ichneumon wasps in the United States. Most cannot be identified to genus or species. These photographs are presented with that understanding.
