LONG -HORNED BEETLES (Cerambycidae)

This beetle is 7-11 mm Long. It is variably mottled with distinctive oval dark and light spots on the last third of each elytra. Antenna are long with alternating short pale and long dark bands at the base.

 

Larvae develop in a variety of deciduous hardwoods. Its occurrence in Fontenelle Forest is unknown.

 

Adults are attracted to lights in summer.
