This moth has a wingspan of about 1 inch. The forewing is brownish-gray with dark defuse diagonal markings in the antemedial and postmedial areas. The hindwing is pale brownish-gray. The palps are long and straight and project forward from the head.

 

The frequency of occurrence at Fontenelle Forest and Neale Woods is not known. An adult was photographed at Camp Brewster coming to lights in mid-September 2015. This moth is uncommon and little is known about its life history.

 

The host food plant is unknown.
