This tiny moss with a silvery sheen was found along the Railroad Tracks on the floodplain of Fontenelle Forest in 2013. It was identified with the help of Rob Harms, a local expert on mosses. The capsules have yet to be seen or photographed.

Abundant in 2013 among the rocks on waste ground along the Railroad Tracks just north of Camp Gifford Road in Fontenelle Forest.
