ORB WEAVER FAMILY (Araneidae)
This small orb weaver grows to less than 1/4 inch long. Its abdomen has a tan color with a two-toned darker pattern on top as shown in the image (A).
Considered rare in Fontenelle Forest, having been seen only once on the reconstructed oak savanna along Hawthorn Trail. No data is yet available for Neale Woods.
