This colorful spider builds its web anywhere from a horizontal to a vertical inclination. It prefers woodlands. The female is less than 1/2 inch long, with a strikingly greenish blue, yellow and black color pattern below (A,B); its legs are also partially green and translucent (B).
Considered uncommon in Fontenelle Forest, this small, but colorful spider is easily overlooked. Although not yet surveyed in Neale Woods, its occurrence there may be considered similar.
