There are 26 species of this genus of spider in North America. They are difficult to identify down to species. It was identified, down to genus, with the help of volunteer experts at BugGuide.

 

This specimen was photographed in late October on the Railroad tracks on the floodplain of Fontenelle Forest. Abundance is yet unknown.
