This spider is about 1/6 (4 mm) of an inch long with the females slightly larger. This spider is light brown with a coppery crown of hairs. This is probably a female due to the pale color. There is a white mark on the back of the carapace and white along the edges of the body and legs. It was identified by experts at bugguide.net.

Jumping spiders are the largest family of spiders. They are capable of very agile jumps. They are generally diurnal active hunters. They have a characteristic shape of the cephalothorax and three pairs of eyes.
