Weevils

Weevils or snout beetles which are members of the Curculionidae family have a well developed snout that is broad, long and narrow. The antenna are short, compact and elbowed. The body is often covered with scales. Most are 1/2 inch in size or smaller. This family is the second largest beetle family in N.America with around 2400 species. All weevils are plant feeders.
